Patient testimonial 6 years after FUE repair of strip Dr. Lindsey
Alex and Dr. Lindsey discuss the old hair transplant disaster he had elsewhere which we repaired using FUE technique 6 years ago. You can avoid 90% of the trouble with cosmetic surgery and hair restoration…if you will just do a little research before you sign up. And of course speak with the doctor, not a salesman, who you want to do the procedure before you commit.  In Alex’s case, we repaired a pluggy hairline, and put it where it “ought” to be…not way down on the forehead where it won’t age properly. Unfortunately Alex has a strip scar that we’ll need to fix at some point. Watch the video and hear Alex in his own words, and in Spanish…and heed his advice.

of the disasters I’ve seen from people
trying to find bargains and so we got
this kid who is not currently hearing
he’s actually a medical assistant in
another doctor’s office he’s a nurse now
yeah and he’s gonna roll in and we’ll
complete this interview whenever he gets

but Alex went to Mexico right yes he he
was starting to use the little corners
here and he decided to go to Mexico
because it was cheaper definitely
cheaper he paid around can I say how
much you can say okay so he said you
know he paid $1,500 $1,500 cut his
ticket so he ended up spending like
$3,000 he had a friend in Mexico that he
stayed with so he spent around $3,000 so
he was comparing prices in the US and he
figure others is half price and
unfortunately they did a stripper left
at kind of a do feel like a scar he has
a yeah he has I think what happens they
probably here’s a picture of a scar yes
and I think it was too short of probably
a little wide and that’s when it
stretched
yep and then they brought his hair lines
below butts he’s had the laser off oh my
god so it rides here a lot too low and
too sparse so here’s this hairline and
then we fixed him with fue wait yes we
did a few and this he was what like
seven years ago it was a long time ago
so um and then so we got him a decent
hairline what you see in this picture
and then he went back and lasered off
things laser off the hair and then the
other people put in yes and you know and
then this is a good conversation you
know to show and I’m sure Alex will tell
you that I am sure he was excited to
have such a low hairline because we have
a lot of patient to say why you put it
are so high and for him it was a good
idea like he thought oh yeah I’m a
this style of hair of this hairstyle
with a low hairline if that’s what he
wanted at age 23 years at age 23 but you
know and I told him I said what did the
doctor recommended against it and he
said well they in he speaks did the
doctor recommend did then the doctor
recommended against it and he said well
look I’m just giving you what everyone

2009 10 and then you were unhappy with
that because they gave you probably the
hairline that you wanted but it was a
low goofy looking at us very low and
very old-fashioned you just keep looking
at the camera and they put your hairline
way down here yes and I’ll put some

you’ve been lasering those off right yes
well actually when you came to see us
and we gave you normal give you my
hairline I’ll just what will age
reasonably well what was that twenty

natural into his head and so right

this date 35 he’s like I know you went
to Mexico because it was cheaper 7 I
went to Mexico because you’re cheap yeah

it was cheaper when we see people
literally every week they go to

right down the street think it’s a bit
cheap and generally you get what you pay
for the reason why we do all these silly
videos is so that people can watch him
before they do just a little bit of
research insist pictures what else would
be no yeah and he had the previous one
through sparse strip strip so it’s it
foot sorry through a strip right and no
put a picture up right between you guys
now yeah and you know so he’s doing
laser hair removal some micro needling
to help with that stars there Mike
native to helping that stars there and
we still are saving money to get this
done so I can transfer that he was
saying that
as you know he said in Spanish because
he wanted to do the Latino community I
don’t he’s what he basically said was if
you go to any cup to a plastic surgeon
which sometimes don’t specialize in hair
and they say oh yes we can do it and
tell them you know that they can do it
but they’re not they’re not it
specializes in hair transplants they
just do it you know if one shows a month
and they say yes we do it 200 time yes
and then he says you know you should
look for somebody that specializes in
here so they can have a good result in
natural results not just something
together just because anyway it is in
Alex said you know he had a hair
transplant she’d beat she’d be well
thought planned and you know ain’t done
and done well like it was only somebody
that would experience will be able to
want you to and think about these shows
right
and so using my planting analogies it’s
just like if you have a backyard and you
want to was on it you don’t do what some
people do I plant a tree you’re here any
moron can do do you come up with a plan
and execute yes because any idiot can
plant old trees but to design the
landscape and carry it out it takes some
skill it’s the same thing with all

and so to summarize Wendy I mean
everybody wants a bargain yeah there’s
good doctors here in the US there’s good
doctors in Mexican good doctors in
Turkey good doctors there’s a lot of
crappy ones all over and so you the
potential customer really need to do
some research and that means you know
look on discussion forums if you can
talk to a patient that that doctors
worked on
not just an office staff that will tell
you whatever they whatever they didn’t
paid to and you know make sure that that
you look at some videos and some
pictures there should be plenty of
mobility the Internet’s crap all the
time does make sure you see plenty of
work by the doctor that you’re going to
with us for a nose or a hair transplant
or a gallbladder or what yeah I mean you
honestly like now with the internet you
research hair transplant going bad and
then you can see all the bad things that
could happen and it’s scary and I think
the best thing to do is educate yourself
ask real questions and honestly have a
feel you know and don’t have one
consultation have plenty of
consultations yeah so you can decide at
you know you can decide who are you
gonna trust why is this doctor saying
this and why is this doctor saying this
and what is this doctor reasoning for
doing this things and I think the truth
is yeah and then it gives you it gives
you enough information to make an
educated decision if we can help you
